Noel G quits Oasis. They were not Blur, but they gave me a handful of good tunes bursting with an arrogant swagger. Dont Look Back In Anger is my favourite tune. Who sings on that one? Why, its Noel! I wonder if Liam was too much of a wanker to deal with....brotherhood gets pushed to a limit i reckon.

2009 sees a massively successful Blur reunion, and Oasis crumble. 2009, or 1995?

Looks like another evening of insanity. Last night saw myself and matt face to face in a dance off at Mulcahy's. I think i won when i did a push-up on the dancefloor...and security gave me a talkin' to. If you cant have a laugh, whats the point, right? Its all good fun.

Four taxis come to pick the lot of us up from the Fire house to go to the Nutty irishman. I happened to be in this stud's cab. Looks like he enjoys a good brew and spliff to cap off the night.

Some of us went to Jackie Reilys for a drunken night out, and to celebrate Matt's sister Amy's birthday. So after many brews and stuff, i did The Killers song "spaceman" on karaoke with Amy. After the performance i got to high five some folks i havent seen in a long time, like Sean and Erin, who used to work with me back in the day. On the way back home, Jokes got a fire call...two cars were on fire in the Ale House parking lot....GNARLY! We show up to find just that, two cars a'blazing. While i snapped a few Blackberry photos this one ugly broad starts getting angry cos its her friends cars. She calls me and Marisa "disgraces to humanity". Marisa narrowly avoided a fight and we just laughed in that random girls ugly face. Wow. What a Wednesday, right? Fuckin' A!

McDoogapalooza Was A Rage and a Half

Sometimes when your raging on brews, pizza (Zza), and partys subs, and a real barn barner of a tune comes on, you have to dance. When water is present, you must get wet. Andrew WK said so. Rager in Brooklyn

Matt and myself went to Brooklyn to see Friendly Fires play at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg. We arrived early so to fill the time we went to a couple bars, and got psyched. Friendly Fires killed it, and towards the end there was a massive stage invasion, which myself and matt took place in. There were a ton of us dancing on stage with the band. RAD! Afterwards we went to the Public Assembly to see Davids band Yound Boys play. We got in for free, had some more drinks, and watched them kill it as well. We ended up chilling outside the venue for a while before leaving to get some Taco Bell back home. These are some blackberry photos i posted cos i forgot my digicam. My left ear is ringing like a bitch right now. cheers.

Here we have a video fo the Kaiser Chiefs doing a Live Lounge cover of MGMT's Time to Pretend. Basicly its one of my favourite bands (Kaiser Chiefs) covering a good song from a band that i dont really have a care for (MGMT). They do a cracking job i must say, and its sort of a playful spin on the orginal tune. Note the adding of U2's I Will Follow lyrics into the mix towards the outro. Clever clocks!

The gates of hell opene dup Thursday evening and let loose a demon, a demon who possessed Rich and made him drive like an evil champion as we returned home from the bar. No turn was to be slowed down for, no speed was too much and no mercy was show for the streets. Even the grass/dirt felt the wrath of Rich in his sister's car as we drove down the back trails by the power lines and water towers. Truly gnarly.
