OMD - Electricity

One of my favourite bands, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, or OMD, doing there fantastic track Electricity.
If you pay close attention at 1:26 you see the crowd dancing and it looks like they were having a blast. 80's dancing is sorely missed.

Insanity belongs to Thursday

Every Thursday night has been eventful, mainly involving alcohol or other fun substances. Last night was no exception. A car packed with people driving to Manhattan in the rain around 10PM. Even though it was tight, once we got into the city, we ran rampant. After two drinks ran us $30, Mathew and i took it upon ourselves to run and scream all around Times Square. The photo above is me, pre-drunk, on these cool neon stairs in Times Square. Patrick gets photo credit, and Rich gets driving credit, for not going insane in NYC traffic. Great Job!

The Loft

Some folks like to go to Rich's garage to escape reality.
Some folks go to the Loft.
...Some folks are hungry for some donuts.
Hi-ho

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero

This is the new single from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new record "It's Blitz". I was never too big a YYYs fan, however I do enjoy tracks from "Fever To Tell", while "Show Your Bones" was sort of a clunker in my opinion. All in all, I'm quite looking forward to there newest record because of there new dance/dancey/new wave direction. I have been previewing there new tracks and i eagerly wait for the physical release of "It's Blitz". Until then, I'm just going to keep this youtube video on repeat.

Liverpool 5, Aston Villa 0

The gap is basicly closed. Liverpool thumped Villa with a 5 nil victory. Steven Gerrard picked up a hat trick. Manchester Utd. lost to Fulham, and Chelsea lost to Tottenham. Liverpool are now second place, and there next victory, as im sure it will happen, will put them back at number 1.

Cheers Stevie G.

I Love You Man

Saturday evening I got to see I Love You Man, with Paul Rudd and Jason Segel as leading men. I suppose it was a romantic comedy, but it was more comedy then romantic, which made it great. I certainly recommend this film. Go for it. Sorry if this post, and any previous posts have been a bit lacking in luster, but I havent been in the right spirits as of late.

I Thought He Was Dead...

Remember when I went to the Museum Of Modern Art? Well i forgot to put this photo up. This was a man laying on the ground in Penn Station for quite a while, not moving. Brian and myself assumed, or hoped, that he was dead. After about an hour or so, the Police came and picked his ass up, apparently he was drunk as all hell. Stumbling about, on the verge of vomitting and looking worse for wear, the two Police officers took him into there office. I assume they beat him.

Against Me! - Miami (Acoustic)

So this is a really great tune, and they do a fantastic job of it acoustic. I really never appreciated these guys, I always assumed they were just mindless, cookie-cutter pop-punk, which i hate to see, when a good chunk of my musical life has been dedicated to authentic punk. Now I'm older, and i'm an indie-electro sorta guy, but Against Me! know whats up. Cheers!

LIVERPOOL 4, Manchester Utd. 1

Liverpool rekindled the Premier League title race on Saturday with a 4-1 mauling of leaders and bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The gap of points is getting smaller. Liverpool need to continue winning and playing like this to snatch the Premiership title...

We already know Liverpool is favoured to win the Champions League.

A Visit to David's On A Rainy Day

Mathew and myself paid a visit to our good friend David, in Ridgewood. We spent the day in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, walking about, popping into some record shops, and eating pizza at Joe's Pizza, which was voted by The New York Magazine as the best in Manhattan. ALSO it was featured in Spider-Man the movie. Thats pretty cool I'd say. We went back to David's place, where Mathew and I were introduced to Laura, Dave's girlfriend, who in turn, introduced us to this delicious drink, Coole Swan Liqueur. I can't thank her enough! Dave shredded the guitar and played a tune from his band, Young Boys, which you should listen to. So this damp and grey Monday turned out to be really fun, I see Dave so infrequently, seeing as i live in Levittown, Long Island, but Summer is coming, and we're going to have many skate adventures.
CHEERS!
P.S.
Dave, tell me how much is it for the hair product that starts out as powder, that stuff is awesome. Hook a brother up!

SNOW FUN FUN SNOW

Bro, it snowed hardcore... So Mike, Hana, and myself met up with Dan and Matthew for some intense sledding in the sump behind Wisdom Lane. It got rad but the wind blew fiercely and my body was frozen. It was pretty fun. We used some old skate decks as snowboards, so, you know, we keep it real. The sump was packed with little kids and jocks, dirtbags and clowns, like myself. Thats right fool, we keep the L-town scene alive. Real talk.
