So i spent my childhood, and early teens (which i suppose wasnt too long ago, but then again, not too recent), dividing my attention to 2 activities. The first was skateboarding, and the second, dare i say it, was Anime (japanese animation). It was a big part of my life, i was so psyched on japan and every animated program that hailed from the land of the risiing sun.

So recently i had found out that there will be a new live-action film, from American creators, based on the Anime Dragonball Z. I found a photo of what im guessing is a poster for the flick.

I know i dont follow this like i used to( HONESTLY!) but i feel as if i should recognize it, and i pray that America doesnt ruin it, and also ruin my childhood.

Today (7/13/) Dan king, myself, Danny Oleman and chris carbaugh had a brilliant day of skating. Matt came out early, and we went to the mall. he bought a Joker shirt from the new batman flick coming out. Later on in the evening we acquired some burgers from FIVE GUYS BURGERS AND FRYS. brilliant.

I loved free slurpee day almost as much as i love Morrissey

This is a sketchy shot from when i saw Morrissey at the Hammerstein ballroom in Manhattan, but it sort of sums up the experience in my brain...likea heavenly, crazy bright light to illuminate the legend himself.

One of the few perfect evenings i have had in my life.

JULY 3rd...a day that will live in infamy

So i finally got to skate with Dan King again. the last time i did that was....about a yera or so ago? sounds right. Anyway, myself , Mathew and Dan skated the usual parks in Long Beach. The staff diddnt realize that we were dead serious proffessional shredsledders and tried to get us to wear some sort of cranium protector....how odd!
We ended the day at division, and Dan broke out his guitar while i sang the blues.

Absolute class in a glass.


As i type this, the day is now July 4th. Get your drink and firework on!

July 4th is upon us...

So i dont know about this July 4th deal. I always wished we never split with England, but i do love fireworks, alcohol, and hot dogs.
