What Can i Say?

Where do I begin? Kyle is an old buddy. We visited him last night just to say whats up. Nobody keeps it real, like Kyle. Glad to see he's staying up and out of trouble. Cheers!

Thursday Throwdown

Pat's cousin made this sign, and told Jesse and myself to lay down under it looking dead.
Hopefully people come in and ask for the Swine Flu vaccination, and get a gnarly shot to drunken there arse up!
Thursday night has been the Faddy Malone's night for a couple weeks now. It's a small, lame bar with lame patrons, but dammit, it's our local boozer. Patrick's cousin Jennifer is a bartender there and we get almost all of our drinks for free. This evening was no exception. I walked to Faddy's to meet Rich and Jesse and Doyle. Jennifer gave us these shots she makes up, that are insanity...pure insanity. Afterwards Rich and myself met up with Matt, Miller, and Chris. We went to the Ale House. The night ended at Rich's house. His mom, Laura, gave me some meatballs. They were rad. Now im going to go to sleep because i have to skate tomorrow and re-thread my trucks to fit the new wheels on, and eventually put my new Jerry Hsu Enjoi deck together.

Nostalgic Musings

Have you ever had a decent acquaintance or borderline friend who you have not seen in years and years? Maybe it was a real friend. Maybe it was just someone you remember from school, but have not seen since. Think of those people. Do you remember there voices? Do you wonder where they are at THIS point in time? If you're like me, chances are NO. However, there does come the occasional moment ,where i stumble upon an old friend from my youths Facebook page, and think to myself....do i even remember this clowns voice? Is it bad that I don't? There is one person i used to hang out with for a couple years, i wont drop his name, but when we skateboard now, some of us named a trick we do after him. Anyway, it was safe to say we were decent pals, and now I don't even keep in contact. The many paths in life can be strange, you never know where they may lead you. You never know if the person you're sitting next to will be gone for whatever reason in the next 5 years. So, what does all this lark mean? Keep your homies close. Simple, right?

Alien Workshop - Mind Field Premier @ NYC 2/3/09

One of my highlights. $8, well worth it for presentation alone. Plus it was a Stella

The place: Tribeca Grand Screening Room
The players: Me, Mike, Steve, Ben, Dan King, Dan Unger

So off we go to check out the new skate flick from AWS. First there is a lot of confusion. RSVP? List? Hand stamps? Just when i was about to leave, Matt Bell from Poets comes in and lets those guest list nazis know im with him, and to stamp our (Ben, myself) hands.
BINGO! We're in for the 9:00pm showing. The bar was fancy as hell, as you can see i ordered a Stella and it came in such a cool glass. CLASSY.
So after some waiting..actually a lot of waiting, we form a line. Then that line gets broken up, so we make another....and another. Anyway we sit down, the flick comes on and its hella good. I dont feel like getting into who was sick and blah blah blah, because you're gonna find out. Eventually. So after a lot of chaos, shit went on rather smoothly.I guess.
THANK YOU MATT BELL FOR THE HOOK UP!
