Good Friday
I woke up at 12:00 today, to my phone buzzing telling me i had a missed call. It was brother Mike. He wanted to do some ollies, and said brother Matt was down. How can i say "no" to that right? It was a bit windy but like 53 degrees , so, you know, it was nice as hell. FINALLY i got to skate and it was great. Also Mike re-threaded my trucks, so i can set up my Zip-Zinger. WHICH I JUST DID, and let me tell you, its rad. OH! and i got my taxes back today and I'm expecting a nice tax return of $1,202! OVER A GRAND OF CHEESE! I'm excited. Chicken nuggets are on me. The only thing that sorta blows is that I have work in like....2 hours, but, whatevs, its pizza night.
I heard Obama chooses Coke over Pepsi. Thats MY president son! Get your Coke on!

Museum Of Modern Art
Pop Art is for everyone.I don't think art should be only for the select few, I think it should be for the mass of American people and they usually accept art anyway.I think Pop Art is a legitimate form of art like any other, Impressionism, etc. It's not just a put-on, I'm not the High Priest of Pop Art, I'm just one of the workers in it. I'm neither bothered by what is written about me or what people may think of me reading it.~ Andy Warhol
Brian and myself took a trip to manhattan to gain culture.
MoMA is amazing. 5 levels of galleries, ranging from scultpure, archictecure, print design, paintings , installations - EVERYTHING. Here are some photos from a huge collection of photos that i took. I was really excited to see some legendary pieces by Picaso, Matisse, Rousseau, Lichtenstein and Warhol. Also the architecture and conceptual building plans were a great surprise too. After the trip to MoMA we ate at Big Bowl Noodle...which has officially changed its name to Main Noodle House, but did not change its greatness...
...When i got back home I played Laser Tag and it was awesome. Thats right. Laser Tag.

Morrissey - Years Of Refusal
Morrissey - Years Of Refusal
I just picked up the new Morrissey record, and let me tell you its a straight up rocker. Mozzer seems re-energized in some way, and ready to melt your face off, all the while singing about his own mortality and further longevity in the music world. Only Morrissey and few others can tackle such subjects. Another subject he sings of that interests me is his own relevance in today's world. "You don't like me but you love me either way you're wrong. You're gonna miss me when I'm gone".

CLOWNFARMER VIDEO OF THE WEEK
VIDEO OF THE WEEK
This is the final part of a 4 part interview with Terry Hall. I admire him quite a lot, as he has an interesting mind and attitude towards music. For those who are not familiar, he was the singer for The Specials, The Colourfield, and Fun Boy Three.

Friday The 13th
I saw the new Jason movie. I can fill up this blog entry with a complete tirade, detailing my hatred for this film, but instead ,if you would like, you can just call me and I'll verbally express my anger.
I knew what I was getting into, and I got to hang out with my buds, but damn, thats $10 bucks out the window.

I'm Sick, Sorry For The Lack Of Updates
I went to the doctor today, and being 21 I'm still insured to go to the pediatrician. That was funny because there's toys in the waiting room, and I was by far the oldest there...OK maybe there were like one or two kids who looked 18, but I digress. Anyway, I'm sick, my nose is stuffy and my throat hurts. Whats good about being sick is I can watch a lot of television without feeling like a hermit...but then again Obi Wan Kenobi was a hermit, and I'll be damned to sit here while you make fun of Obi Wan.

I YouTubed My Name And...
I remember Dan King and Dan Unger calling me one night, and asking me to sing bits of Lil Wayne over the phone. I might have been drunk, but i obliged. Anyway I diddnt think this little video would come of it. Dates from October. Just goes to show you kids, always youtube/google yourself, you never know what might pop up.
AH HA!
So i was watching Star Trek and now am fully aware that the comic book shop i been going to for a long time (havent been in a while...honest!) has been named after the episode i just seen...AMOK TIME. Do you know how long i been wondering what the hell Amok Time meant?
This is an epic scene from the episode, which as it were, is one of the most famous....you'll see why.

R.I.P. Lux Interior of The Cramps
Another punk legend has passed away, Lux Interior of The Cramps. I purchased one of there records a while back, "Bad Music, For Bad People" and it was mind blowing. Rockabilly, punk, surf, with a horror/comedy twist all blended together to make something unique.
Here they played in a mental hospital.

The Incredible Vulc!
Alien Workshop - Mind Field Premier @ NYC 2/3/09
One of my highlights. $8, well worth it for presentation alone. Plus it was a Stella
The place: Tribeca Grand Screening Room
The players: Me, Mike, Steve, Ben, Dan King, Dan Unger
The players: Me, Mike, Steve, Ben, Dan King, Dan Unger
So off we go to check out the new skate flick from AWS. First there is a lot of confusion. RSVP? List? Hand stamps? Just when i was about to leave, Matt Bell from Poets comes in and lets those guest list nazis know im with him, and to stamp our (Ben, myself) hands.
BINGO! We're in for the 9:00pm showing. The bar was fancy as hell, as you can see i ordered a Stella and it came in such a cool glass. CLASSY.
So after some waiting..actually a lot of waiting, we form a line. Then that line gets broken up, so we make another....and another. Anyway we sit down, the flick comes on and its hella good. I dont feel like getting into who was sick and blah blah blah, because you're gonna find out. Eventually. So after a lot of chaos, shit went on rather smoothly.I guess.
THANK YOU MATT BELL FOR THE HOOK UP!

Just Some Quick Thoughts From Other Sources
In traditional typography, text is composed to create a readable, coherent, and visually satisfying whole that works invisibly, without the awareness of the reader. Even distribution with a minimum of distractions and anomalies are aimed at producing clarity and transparency
and
I was watching an episode of The Simpsons where they go to England.
Homer says the following
"I cant believe they gave Giggs a yellow card in the box!"
Which means that he went to a Manchester United game.
Is Homer a fan of the Red Devils? Say it aint so!

CLOWNFARMER PICKS CORRECT!
Thats right babies, the clownfarmer picked The Steelers over the Cardinals and was right on the money. Sorry Patrick, you called the coin toss, the fact that Arizona would recieve the ball 2nd half , and you ALMOST called the game... the Clownmaster came out victorious.
After a fine display of football, Patrick and I visited our comrad Rich where an 80s Casio Keyboard was played, and Adult Swim was watched while Horton was impairing our brains.
